I'm A Pretty Big Deal Around Here

Well, it's been quite a while since I've written.  My bad.  Mommy & Daddy planned a HUGE artist's celebration for me called "Family Is Forever"...and a a hundred or so of our closest friends (hahaha) in the park across the street from our house.  There were dancers and rappers and bands, amazing food and fun games, unbelievable gift baskets and silent auction stuff.

It was an INCREDIBLE day...and it was all for ME! :)

These photos were taken in the afternoon by my special friend David Woodruff.  LOTS more people were involved...but Mommy & Daddy were so busy running around that they didn't get a whole lot of pictures taken.  They promise that if they find more, they'll add them to the post.  But thanks to David, we can share a bit of the experience with you!

The scene of the crime...
Our A-MA-ZING sound guys...
they made everyone sound SO GOOD!!
Me & Daddy enjoying all the fun!
Daniel Hodges from Kinetic Worship rocks the house!
(He became a new Daddy just a few days later!)
Singer/Songwriter Ryan Internicola...
he even dedicated one of his original songs to me!  :)
Daddy introducing me to the audience...
...I think I make Daddy a little happy!
Spoken Word Poet, Christin Ingram...
nothing but standing O's for her amazing prose!
The face painting booth was a BIG HIT!
...as you can see...
...kids were linin' UP, y'all!
I'm trying to tell Mommy about some very important stuff
regarding the upcoming elections, world hunger and my
new theories in quantum physics
...and then because she's been such a good girl,
I'll FEED her some chips.
Daddy working the crowd...talking to Matt Dawson.
That's trouble just waiting to happen!
I'll admit, there was some cuteness competition...
but I think I held my own pretty good!
Singer/Songwriter Erin Maynor...honest, soulful songs
Mel Alvarez, Daniella & Nicholas Frye..
.and my Daddy on drums in the back.
(My Mommy says they were just SICK.
Maybe they should take some medicine...)
...this is a better view of Daddy playing the drums.
Daddy...letting Miles play on his drums.
Since it was all about me, I felt it appropriate to take the stage
and drop some spontaneous dance on all my fans.
One day, I'd like to be a BGV like Melissa.
(Back Ground Vocalist, for those of you not
savvy to musical terms like I am)
...but for now, I just like the view from the stage!
This is the poster my Mommy designed for the event...
and people at the event.
Pretty cool to see it all come together!
